HUED is a free colour-mixing game at hued.ch, run by Elia Undeutsch. Using it means accepting what follows. If you do not, please do not use it.
The game is free, and provided as it is
There is nothing to pay and nothing to subscribe to. In return, it comes with no warranty and no promise that it will be available, correct, or unchanged tomorrow. It may go offline, lose data, or stop existing. It is a game.
Accounts
- An account is optional. You can play the whole game without one.
- One account per person. Extra accounts made to occupy the leaderboard may be removed.
- Keep your password to yourself; what happens under your sign-in is your responsibility.
- Your display name is shown publicly. Names that are abusive, hateful, impersonate somebody, or exist to advertise something may be changed or removed without notice.
- You can delete your account at any time from Settings. It is immediate and permanent.
Fair play, and what the leaderboard is worth
Your browser works out a score to show you, but the score that gets stored is worked out again on the server, from the colours you actually picked and the day those colours belong to. A submitted score that does not match is replaced by the one the picks earn. Alongside that: one result per player per day, no editing a result once it is recorded, and no way to delete a single day and play it again.
What remains open is the picking itself — nothing here can tell a careful eye from a program that computes the answer. So please do not automate play. Results that are clearly not genuine may be removed, a board may be corrected or reset, and accounts that tamper may be deleted.
What you may do with it
Play it, share your results, tell people about it, link to it. The game itself, its name and its design belong to Elia Undeutsch — do not copy it wholesale or pass it off as your own.
Privacy
What is stored and how to delete it is set out in the privacy notice, which is part of these terms.
Changes
These terms may change; the date at the top changes with them. Continuing to play after a change means accepting it.
Governing law
Swiss law applies, and the place of jurisdiction is Bern, Switzerland, as far as the law allows. Nothing here takes away rights you have as a consumer that cannot be signed away.
